Library
Our School has a well furnished Library, with a rich collection of various types of books, under the charge of a well-qualified Librarian. Library periods are provided to all the classes in which they visit the Library to read the magazines, books and encyclopedias etc. Besides, they utilize these periods for getting the books issued too, to study them at home.
Following the wealth of wisdom in this saying, the school has collected a substantial no. of books on wide ranging disciplines to quench the children’s quest for knowledge. A qualified dedicated librarian perseveres to upkeep the library along the principles of library science. Library period introduced in the daily routine will go a long way to inculcate reading habits, the real means of obtaining pleasure and knowledge
Laboratory
Science Lab
The school lab is well equipped with scientific instruments for the Physics, Chemistry and Biology to conduct science practical experiments in all three said subjects to the needs of the science experiment under CBSE norms.
Computer Lab
Computer Education is an integral part of the school curriculum. The students are trained in basic skills and techniques of Computer. Separate labs are available for Junior and senior students with specialized softwares and packages for each and every subject. It is further aided by Internet connections, which can be used under the proper guidance of instructors.
Music Art and Craft
The Music Department and club of DAV Public School Urimari are one of the richest and resourceful; department of the school. The interested students are trained in vocal as well as instrumental . They are constantly encouraged and trained in the field of music which includes Dance ,drama and acting throughout the year students participate in various competitions and stage performance throughout the Zone.This department is very proud of their achievements . Our Morning Assembly is a real confidence of art and music where various musical instruments are played by the talented students of the school.
